About the Role

A successful candidate will be responsible for;
Assisting the Owners and General Manager during shifts.
Warmly welcoming and greeting guests.
Taking charge of the guest experience by anticipating their needs and consistently delivering attentive and friendly service.
Demonstrating exceptional menu knowledge; you will be expected to provide detailed descriptions of our dishes and wines by the glass confidently every time. (We offer comprehensive training and tastings for all new dishes and pairings.)
Maintaining quality and consistency in drink preparation.
Contributing to sales targets by actively upselling and making recommendations for both food and beverages.
Keeping the restaurant clean and organised, ensuring food hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
Facilitating impeccable communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

  • Hospitality is a high-pressure environment, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to remain calm under stress, manage multiple tasks, and exhibit strong organisational skills.

  • Must be confident and skilled in all aspects, including preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, food service, and hosting duties.

  • Possess a remarkable work ethic.

  • Focus on our guests, establish rapport, and anticipate their needs.

  • Maintain a proactive and positive attitude.

  • Committed to learning and development, eager to grow alongside our brand.

While previous experience in hospitality is preferred, it is not mandatory, and weekend availability is essential, as we operate from Thursday to Sunday.



WHAT WE OFFER

Flexible hours ranging from 6 to 18 per week
Competitive pay of £8.60 per hour for those under 20, £11.44 per hour over 21.
A 12.5% service charge along with tips distributed fairly based on the number of services worked, paid out monthly
Regular Sundays off, in addition to a standard Monday to Wednesday off schedule
Annual closure Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day, in addition to two weeks in January.
Opportunities for learning and development, including funded qualifications and ongoing on-the-job training
Unlimited soft drinks, tea, and coffee while on duty
